During full eye examination with Dr. Panesar, a dry eye assessment with DEQ5 questionnaire and Ocular Surface Disease Index Questionnaire will be done. During that time, we may recommend the following:
Dry Eye Assessment
For all patients referred to us for Dry Eye Treatment and our patients that we have recommended a complete work up for so that the doctor can make appropriate recommendation for treatment. Must have assessment before going on DEBC. Includes CDEA questionnaire, tear osmolality, full suite of Oculus Keratograph testing upper and lower Meibomian gland scan, examination and recommendations / counselling with the optometrist.
How Much Does Dry Eye Therapy Cost?

Dry Eye Therapy Program (Initial)
Includes 1 bottle of Omega 3, drops, lid care product and Thera Pearls mask and six months of in office treatment with the optometrist (including lid margin debridement, manual MG expression, Tea Tree Oil Treatment if needed).
Dry Eye Therapy Program (Renewal)
Does not include the products in the initial program but does include speciality testing as indicated when requested by the doctor (i.e. repeat tear osmolality / Oculus Keratograph) covers another six months of in office treatment with the optometrist (including lid margin debridement, manual MG expression, Tea Tree Oil Treatment if needed).
